bitGANs NFT Overview

bitGANs is a collection of 512 animated artificial intelligence-created NFTs living on the Ethereum blockchain. bitGANs was founded by AI artist and creator Pindar Van Arman in August of 2021 when the first bitGANs NFT was minted. Pindar Van Arman accidentally created the basis for the algorithm to create bitGANs while working on another project, nounGANs. 

Originally bitGANs was planned to be a collection of 2,048 handcrafted NFTs released semi-monthly until the total supply was achieved. However, one year after the release of the first bitGAN NFT, it was announced that bitGANs would be capped at a supply of 512.
