The Bored Ape Yacht Club announced that the highly-anticipated 'Trial of Jimmy the Monkey' will begin on Wednesday, the project revealed via Twitter.

The trial will begin with a short film, which will "kick off a new chapter in the lore of BAYC," according to the thread.

Signs and details will be released "along the way", with a playable interactive mint experience for BAYC and MAYC holders teased for late January.

The project also released a chart depicting a hierarchy based on assets held, with Apes and Mutants who also hold Kennel Dogs in separate, elevated tiers:
