Calian by Eric De Giuli NFT Overview

Calian is a collection of 256 on-chain, generative art NFTs created by theoretical physicist and generative artist Eric De Giuli on the Ethereum blockchain. The collection was released as part of the Art Blocks Curated NFT collection. Rooted in De Giuli's research on the origin of life, Calian is essentially a collection of the persistent, complex systems that De Giuli can study. Each piece in the collection is infinitely zoomable and scrollable so that viewers can explore and experience the lifelike behaviors found in De Giuli's studies. The collection is also loosely connected to De Giuli's previous Art Blocks collections, Mazinaw and Glass, which are also artistic representations of previous research findings.
