Castaways Genesis NFT Overview

Castaways Genesis is a collection of 1,000 character NFTs created for the game Castaways on the Ethereum blockchain. Castaways is a sandbox game created by gaming studio Branch, which is a collection of artists, gamers, and self-proclaimed hackers that is backed by Coinbase, Polychain Capital, Josh Buckley, and others. The collection utilized a multi-phase reveal that unveiled traits over the course of three weeks. The initial NFT, which represents airline tickets, was revealed to identify boarding groups and baggage bonuses. Boarding groups correlate to rarity and were revealed prior to the character reveal. After three weeks each Castaways Genesis character was revealed.
