The Islands is a collection of 500 remote island NFTs created by Castaways on the Ethereum blockchain. Castaways is a sandbox game created by gaming studio Branch building on the Ethereum blockchain. Branch is a collection of artists, gamers, and self-proclaimed hackers that is backed by Coinbase, Polychain Capital, Josh Buckley, and many others. The Islands are NFTs within Castaways where users must work together in order to survive and build a thriving civilization. Holders can only utilize items available on their own island to produce additional resources to survive.
