Cosmic Reef is a 1024 piece art collection created by @VillarealStudio.

Villareal is most known for two iconic public artworks: The Bay Lights and the Illuminated River. Bay Lights is a light sculpture that spans the entire western span of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. Illuminated River is a series of generative light sculptures installed on nine bridges over the River Thames in London.

Cosmic Reef reflects on the ordered randomness in nature, capable of producing beauty and symmetry. It was Villareal's vision to create an art collection that demonstrates how order can be found in all parts of the universe, whether that be deep space, forests, oceans or the day-to-day lives of humans.
