CryptoPunks Market Sees 486 ETH in Bids This Morning

CryptoPunks #924 and #6648 both received bid offers this morning, which totaled 486 ETH (~$630,000), as the market for the OG 10k pfp project heats up.

The lower bid for Punk #6648 reached 101 ETH (~$130,000) at around 4 a.m. ET this morning. The male CryptoPunk with goat and top hat traits last sold for 168 ETH on Sep. 12, 2021. The most recent bid prior to this morning was 40 ETH on Jan. 27, 2022, but it went as high as 400 ETH (~$1.17 million at the time of offer) on Sep. 25, 2021.

The higher bid for Punk #924 reached 350 ETH (~$488,000) less than an hour ago. The male CryptoPunk with luxurious beard, hoodie, earring, and 3D glasses traits last saw an offer of 355 ETH on Oct. 5, 2022. It was last sold on Jul. 31, 2021 for 267.7 ETH to DraftKings co-founder Matt Kalish.

DeepNFTValue values Punk #924 at 388.3 ETH, which would be a 3 percent discount for the buyer. It is currently listed for 569.7 ETH (~$740,000).

These bids follow an uptick in bids and sales yesterday, a huge ~$500,000 sale of a VR, hoodie CryptoPunk last night, and a 500 ETH bid for a zero trait Punk less than 24 hours ago.

The CryptoPunks market seems to be picking up steam with 814 ETH in total volume over the last 24 hours.
