Dipolar by Junia Farquhar NFT Overview

Dipolar is a collection of 256 on-chain, generative art NFTs created by artist Junia Farquhar on the Ethereum blockchain. The collection was released as part of the Art Blocks Curated NFT collection. As a way to explore the contrast between empiricism and rationalism, Farquhar attempted to use Dipolar as a way to answer the question "What would electromagnetism look like in two dimensions?" The style of the collection was inspired by the sketches of Euler and Leonardo da Vinci, both artists that sought to explain the world in a diagram. Farquhar also draws inspiration from Sol Lewitt and Vera Molnar who frequently use dense details to provide tension throughout their works.
