DraftKings Reveals 2023 Plans for UFC Reignmakers Product

DraftKings shed light on its plans for the upcoming UFC Reignmakers season in a Discord announcement this morning. In total, DraftKings plans to pay out over $12 million in prizes this season, including $8 million in contest prizes (with Pay-Per-View contests having prize pools twice as large as Fight Night slates). The remaining prize money will be reserved for Franchise Score, collection challenges, "and much more."

This season will feature GENESIS Packs and Event Packs, with GENESIS Packs serving as a way to build your collection of top fighter game cards that can be played all season long. Each GENESIS Pack is guaranteed to include ranked fighters, and the cards come with a 5x points multiplier for your RM UFC Franchise Score. There will be three GENESIS Pack drops on Friday, January 6th at 5:00 PM ET, including Core Add-On Packs for $4.99, Standard Packs for $34.99, and Premium Packs for $349.99.

Event Packs, on the other hand, are only eligible for the contest associated with the event they represent and can be purchased weekly for prices ranging from $19.99 to $34.99. First-time Event Pack purchasers can also get their first pack for just $9.99.

Octagon Pass Holders can also take advantage of Preferred Access on Friday, January 6th from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM ET to purchase GENESIS Entry-Tier and Upper-Tier Packs. Additionally, DraftKings will be auctioning 426 REIGNMAKER Tier Fighter Game Cards throughout the month of January in the DraftKings Marketplace.
