DraftKings Reignmakers Partners With Steve Aoki
DraftKings Reignmakers officially announced its newest partnership with DJ, record producer, music programmer, record executive, and NFT enthusiast Steve Aoki, according to a recent tweet from DraftKings co-founder Matt Kalish.
The partnership includes a new Steve Aoki-theme All-Star Access Pass, which is expected to drop on Sep. 14. Holders of the new All-Star Access Pass will receive special access to private Reignmakers Football contests during the 2022 NFL season.
“Steve Aoki is globally recognized for his contributions to the music industry and more recently, for his involvement with digital collectibles," Kalish said in a statement. "I am excited to welcome him to the DraftKings family. Having him on board will provide us with a refreshing perspective for future, community-driven projects, and I look forward to bringing new experiences to our customers and to Steve’s fans.”
In addition to special Reignmakers contests, holders will be eligible for VIP events hosted by DraftKings and tickets to Steve Aoki's future shows.
"I am excited to be working with DraftKings to build out the next generation of fantasy sports,” said Aoki. “Through Reignmakers Football, DraftKings customers can have ownership of their rosters in an innovative way that web3 can provide."
Additional information on contests and prizes is not yet available, but the announcement does mention that the final week's contest is expected to include an Aoki Poker Night experience and additional cash payouts.
