The First "Deep Roster" Contests Are Live

DraftKings has launched contests for its new "Deep Roster" format today, ahead of the Week 4 NFL slate for Reignmakers. Unlike Classic mode (which requires rosters to include 1 quarterback, 1 running back, 1 wide receiver, 1 wide receiver/tight end, and 1 flex) and Showdown (which requires 1 "Captain" and 3 flexes), Deep Roster format requires lineups include players at the following positions:
- Quarterback
- Running back
- Running back
- Wide receiver
- Wide receiver
- Tight end
- Kicker
- Defense
- Flex
The new format will add value to kickers and defenses, who had previously not been required in any format, and will increase the value of tight ends, who had previously been underutilized in the "WR/TE" slot with most players opting to use receivers in that spot.
There are currently 15 different "Deep Roster" eligible contests in the Reignmakers lobby, hosted across all rarity tiers. These contests all appear on the full week, Thursday-Monday slate.
