Five Penguins is a generative art series by Gavin Shapiro consisting of 3,125 combinations of penguin squads. The squads contain five different penguin types in five different positions and are designed to fit in a Twitter banner. Each squad gets a random background and a chance to spawn with special environmental traits.
Gavin Shapiro is a digital artist that focuses primarily on playful conceptual artworks. Gavin has worked on a large variety of projects including televison shows, commercials, outdoor displays, large-format stage visuals, and animations for casino games. Gavin's work has been used as visuals at music festivals and concerts all over the world, and has been shown on digital billboards as part of art exhibitions in New York City, Paris, and Tokyo.
