Gossamer announced that its recent Gossamer Academy mint will be coming to a close tonight at 8:00 pm ET in a recent tweet.
The collection has minted around 70 percent of its total supply and if any supply remains after the minting window closes the team will mint the remaining NFTs and they "will be airdropped to loyal holders at random."
The team also announced an upcoming airdrop where holders who own a Gossamer Seed and a Gossamer Academy NFT during a snapshot that is set to occur "in the next 24 hours" will be airdropped a "Nightmare Serum."
Gossamer Seed opened its "Gossamer Academy" mint earlier this evening according to a recent tweet.
The project revealed how its mint mechanics would work as well as its roadmap plans almost two weeks ago.
Users who wish to purchase a Gossamer Academy NFT can do so for 0.30 ETH plus gas on the team's official website.
The current floor price of Gossamer Academy on OpenSea is currently 0.26 ETH, around ten percent below the mint price.
Gossamer Seed NFT holders will be able to mint Gossamer Army NFTs on July 10, according to a tweet from the project.
The number of Moths, or Gossamer Seed NFTs, a holder has in their wallet determines the amount of Army NFTs they can mint, the project said.
The public mint for the Gossamer Army is set for July 11 at a yet-to-be-announced time.
Gossamer Seed has begun its reveal according to a recent tweet.
The image on the collection that once featured a picture of a firefly has now been updated to feature a moth.
"The moth NFT will continue to develop abilities, bring airdropped treasures, and opportunities to uncover new magics: changing your companion, through an interactive story you help shape." says the team.
Holders of the Moth NFT will be granted first access to mint a "playable Gossamer Fairy NFT."
The mint date for the Gossamer Fairy is set to take place sometime between July 6-July 10 in 2022 according to the team.
The Gossamer and the Moth will both be playable characters in the project's upcoming Play-To-Earn game with the Moth being the player's means of travel and the Gossamer acting as the player's avatar that grants them "exclusive perks, rewards, and earning potential."
Gossamer ends the announcement by saying it will open its Discord soon and be adding a holders-only channel.

Gossamer Seed, a recently minted project founded by BRON Studios, announced a "production technology partnership" with Epic Games, the creator of Fortnite, according to a recent tweet.
While all the details of the partnership are unknown, the team did say "The community can look forward to a Play-To-Earn game with AAA quality and compelling gameplay at its core."
