Trippy M2 Mutant Ape Sells for 79.69 ETH

An M2 Mutant Ape Yacht Club NFT sold for 79.69 ETH Friday — the highest sale of an M2 in eight months, in terms of ETH.

Twitter user @metadantes bought MAYC No. 14,977 for the aforementioned price, adding to a collection of 54 Otherdeeds and 18 Azukis. It's the highest sale of an M2 since one with a Solid Gold fur trait went for 80 ETH eight months ago.

It's also the 21st-highest sale all-time for the collection.

The MAYC floor price is up 7 percent in the last month, despite a 1 percent drop in the LT30 — Lucky Trader's market index.
