ORI by James Merrill NFT Overview

ORI is a collection of 450 on-chain, generative art NFTs created by digital artist James Merrill on the Ethereum blockchain. The collection was released as part of the Art Blocks Curated NFT Collection. Ever since he was a young kid, James Merrill would buy Origami paper and follow instructions to create Origami models. This collection, ORI, draws on the inspiration from folding those Origami papers back in his youth. Each generative output creates a deep abstract and contrasting imagery. Each output features a spray paint simulation, which is inspired by the graffiti Merrill would see in his hometown of Baltimore, that provides each image color.
