Rare Apepe YC NFT Overview

Rare Apepe Yacht Club is a collection of 10,000 Bored Ape Yacht Clu-styled Pepe NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. The collection was founded and created by digital artist @pepe_designer, aka Rare Designer. Rare Apepes pays homage to two important and distinct NFT collections; Rare Pepes and Bored Ape Yacht Club. Rare Pepes are essentially OG NFTs, and one of the most historical NFT collections ever, pre-dating CryptoPunks by over a year. Rare Designer has created a couple of iconic Rare Pepes in their career. 

The collection initially launched as a paid mint at 0.05 ETH in March of 2022, but did not find much success and only minted ~2,000. After almost 5 months, the collection restructured the mint to a free mint and completely sold out.
