As part of its WoW emergency fund, World of Women donated $100,000 to Community Partners International to provide humanitarian assistance to children in need in Myanmar (Burma).

The donation will help provide lifesaving services, including shelter, nutrition, health care, safe water, sanitation, and education for the more than 5 million children in the country who need it.

"Conflict has displaced more than half a million people in Myanmar (Burma) since February 2021," the WoW team tweeted today. "Women and children affected by conflict and displacement are particularly at risk."

"I am deeply grateful to World of Women for your generous support to people in desperate need in Myanmar," Linda Smith, a board member at Community Partners International, said. "Your assistance will save lives and help build a brighter future."
