Wrapped CryptoPunks NFT Overview

Wrapped Cryptopunks is a collection of the 10,000 original Cryptopunk NFTs created by Larva Labs on the Ethereum blockchain. Cryptopunks originally launched in June of 2017, but the smart contract had a major bug that allowed buyers to purchase a cryptopunk on the secondary market and essentially refund themselves the ETH used in purchasing a secondary market Cryptopunk. Due to this major issue, Larva Labs issued a new smart contract with the bug removed, re-minted all of the CryptoPunks, and airdropped the newly minted "v2" CryptoPunks to the rightful "v1" holders. 

Wrapped CryptoPunks represent the original v1 CryptoPunks created by Larva Labs. These CryptoPunks however require a 'wrapper contract' to wrap each original NFT into ERC-721 compliant tokens and patch the original contract bug. As v1 CryptoPunks are wrapped, the image is slightly changed by adding a reddish-orange ribbon in the top left to differentiate the CryptoPunk from the original, unwrapped version.
