Elon Musk and NASA Help Send Azuki NFTs to Space
In this post

Earlier today, Azuki announced that they will be sending 2,000 Bobu the Bean Farmer NFTs to space on a Ledger hardware wallet.

The event, produced in collaboration with NASA and Elon Musk’s company SpaceX, plans to send a crew into orbit with the NFTs on April 23, 2022.

The stunt pits Bobu as the first NFT to be sent to space via hardware wallet, but perhaps more importantly confirms Azuki's interest in making headlines and pushing boundaries in the NFT space.

The Azuki team has also announced that they have partnered with STELLAR, a student research organization from Grand Canyon University.

The student group will be researching “...energy output and electrical characteristics of a Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC) run in a microgravity environment.”

A donation ranging between 2-8 ETH to help with STELLAR’s efforts will be determined by Bobu NFT holders in a vote slated to start on April 14, at 4:00 p.m. ET.

The poll will remain open until April 20. Any Bobu NFT holders can vote on the contribution here.

As the mission begins, holders of a Bobu the Bean Farmer NFTs can also expect to be airdropped exclusive souvenirs from the Azuki team.

To celebrate making history by sending Bobu to space, the Azuki team is orchestrating a giveaway of one Beanz Official NFT and one Bobu NFT.

Users will need to retweet and like the official announcement tweet and leave a comment wishing Bobu a safe journey. Those wishing to enter can find the tweet here
