DraftKings & Polygon

DraftKings partnered with Zero Hash to earn staking rewards on Polygon, becoming one of the first corporate validators to do so.

In a new web3 initiative DraftKings will stake its assets on the Polygon Network via Zero Hash. DraftKings has signaled to the community that Autograph and its NFT marketplace is just the beginning for the platform's soiree into web3.

The Polygon co-founder expressed his excitement about DraftKings joining as a validator stating.

"DraftKings will become an even more active participant in the Polygon ecosystem," he said, "playing a critical role in guaranteeing the integrity of the blockchain and securing the network."

 

VeeFriends Series 2 Details

VeeFriends released detailed information regarding its upcoming VeeFriends Series 2 drop.

The total supply of 55,000 NFTs will be broken down in the following manner:

  • 10,255 NFTs for VeeFriends Series 1 holders
  • 32,000 NFTs for Friends List
  • 10,000 NFTs for the general public mint
  • And 3,300 NFTs for 15 new characters

With Series 1 holders can claim one NFT for free plus gas. VeeFriends will release a token ID checker that will allow the public to look up whether or not a particular Series 1 NFT has been used to claim its Series 2 character at the time of release. 

 

Immutable X Funding

Immutable X, a Sydney-based NFT game developer, raised millions of dollars from investors at Singapore's Temasek and is now valued at $2.5 billion.

Immutable, which developed NFT games like Gods Unchained and Guild of Guardians, had previously raised funds at a $410 million valuation in 2021.

Partnering with GameStop in February to launch the retailer's NFT marketplace, Immutable continues to grab the attention of large scale firms as investors attempt to join the recent surge in NFTs and web3 platforms and protocols.
