Doodles Tease Developments
Doodles teased several exciting updates to its short-term roadmap in a Discord announcement Monday night, including Doodles 2 Beta expectations, multi-chain development plans, and even a new IRL event.

In an effort to keep up with a commitment to communication, the Doodles team outlined their comprehensive roadmap for the coming months. Most notably, Doodles will be forgoing SXSW and NFT NYC, in order to launch their own first-ever, semi-permanent Doodles IRL experience, which is expected to take place later this year.

The announcement also affirmed that Genesis Boxes will be revealed in Feb. and that the Doodles 2 Beta is on track to deploy in the coming months.
The announcement also name-dropped Pharrell, teasing "deets coming soon" in reference to his involvement in the project.

The Doodles ecosystem has taken some heat on multiple fronts lately, mostly concerning the team's communication cadence as well as its decision to utilize the Flow blockchain for Doodles 2. Monday's announcement was a clear attempt to regain trust with the community, stating that they have no intention to stop building on ETH and that they remain committed to being at the forefront of NFT mass adoption through a multi-chain approach.
