Let's get into all the action for this weekend of hoops:

Game Week Rewind โฎ

Someone call an exterminator... Spida is taking over!

Just a week after a ridiculous 71-point (actual points, not Sorare) performance, Donovan Mitchell took the top spot again on the Game Week 24 slate — with his 46 / 6 / 9 line on Tuesday good for 77 Sorare Points.

I'd also be remiss if I didn't shout out Luka Doncic's ridiculous game last night — which saw him nail step-back threes to both send the game to OT AND double OT in a gritty win over the Lakers. Enjoy some Luka Magic:

Some other notable players that provided significant value included:

  • Gabe Vincent (50 Sorare Points, +39)
  • Mikal Bridges (55 Sorare Points, +29)
  • Dario Saric (34 Sorare Points, + 28)
  • Jevon Carter (42 Sorare Points, +28)
  • Christian Wood (69 Sorare Points, +27)

Multi-Game Monitor ๐Ÿ—“

In Sorare NBA, having a player with several games during a competition can be a big advantage — with an extra chance at a ceiling performance.

2 Games: Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets, Golden State Warriors, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, New Orleans Pelicans, New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors

Injury Info ๐Ÿฅ

Here are some notable (not all-inclusive) injury/lineup situations to monitor and plan for ahead of this week's games.

  • Tyrese Haliburton suffered a bone bruise in his knee and an elbow sprain on Wednesday and is expected to miss a minimum of two weeks. TJ McConnell is expected to fill in at point guard in his absence.

  • DeMar DeRozan went down with a scary non-contact injury in Monday's contest, but appears to have avoided serious injury. The star forward reportedly has a quad strain, and is doubtful for Friday's game but shouldn't miss too much time.

The info below is for Friday, Jan. 13 — but also gives insight into future availability for the rest of the Game Week:

Ruled Out  โŒ

  • Cory Joseph, DET (personal), Dean Wade, CLE (shoulder/ankle), Kevin Porter Jr., HOU (foot), Luke Kennard, LAC (calf), Paul George, LAC (hamstring), Landry Shamet, PHO (hip), Chris Paul, PHO (hip), Jalen Duren, DET (ankle), Clint Capela, ATL (calf), Tyrese Haliburton, IND (knee), Brandon Ingram, NOP (toe)

Doubtful ๐Ÿค•

  • DeMar DeRozan, CHI (quad)

Questionable โ“

  • Kevin Huerter, SAC (illness), Oshae Brissett, IND (hamstring), Aaron Nesmith, IND (illness), Kyle Anderson, MEM (illness), Taurean Prince, MIN (ankle), Anthony Edwards, MIN (hip), DeAndre Ayton, PHO *ankle), Isaiah Stewart, DET (shoulder), Myles Turner, IND (back), Monte Morris, WAS (hamstring), Daniel Gafford, WAS (ankle), Kristaps Porzingis, WAS (ribs), Talen Horton-Tucker, UTA (ankle), Jalen Suggs, ORL (ankle), Nikola Jokic, DEN (injury management), Herb Jones, NOP (back)

The designations above are as of Friday at 1:00 p.m. EST. As injury information is breaking at all hours prior to lineups locking, an excellent resource for up-to-date news is the Underdog NBA Twitter account.

Value Plays ๐Ÿค‘

Last Game Week's Value Pick Performances:

Player | L10 | GW 24 Performance

  • Romeo Langford, 15 L10,  28 Sorare Points (+13) ๐Ÿ”ฅ
  • Josh Richardson, 21 L10, 34 Sorare Points (+13) ๐Ÿ”ฅ
  • Malcolm Brogdon, 23 L10, 37 Sorare Points (+14) ๐Ÿ”ฅ
  • Duane Washington Jr., 15 L10, 30 Sorare Points (+15) ๐Ÿ”ฅ
  • Tyus Jones, 22 L10 | 44 Sorare Points (+22) ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

All flames for a second straight week!

Game Week 25 Value Picks:

*Note — these selections are based purely on L10 value in lineups — and do not consider the auction or market prices of the players listed.

TJ McConnell | 21 L10 — With Tyrese Haliburton out at least two weeks, TJ McConnell finds himself in a great opportunity to see some elevated minutes for the foreseeable future. McConnell has a history of racking up fantasy points in a hurry, so is always a valuable play when he sees the court. And he already displayed his upside on Wednesday, putting up 38 Sorare Points in just 26 minutes of action. Fire up the crafty guard with confidence this weekend.

Also Consider: Andrew Nembhard (19 L10), Bennedict Mathurin (25 L10), Chris Duarte (8 L10, sneaky dart throw with additional guard minutes available), Jalen Smith (18 L10, monitor the status of Myles Turner

Terance Mann | 14 L10 — The Clippers continue to have players in and out of the lineup — and with Paul George (hamstring) and Luke Kennard (calf) set to miss Friday's contest, the opportunity arises again for role players to shine. Enter Terance Mann, who has already seen a significant playing time uptick over the last two games (41 and 34 minutes) and has been an admirable fill-in for stretches throughout the season. My formula is Low Cap + High Minutes = Value, and Mann fits that bill perfectly.

Also Consider: Norman Powell (24 L10)

Dario Saric | 7 L10 — Dario Saric's minutes have been a bit inconsistent since returning to the lineup from injury a few weeks ago — but with the current Suns' roster looking like a hospital ward, the forward has carved out a nice role over the last few games. Seeing 25-30 minutes a game at a L10 cap of just 7 is pretty much free cheese, and Phoenix has already ruled out most of their core again for Friday's matchup against the Timberwolves. DeAndre Ayton's possible return could cut into his minutes a bit, but with the lack of available bodies, Saric's role should be safe — especially at such a low cap price.

Also Consider: Jock Landale (16 L10, only if Ayton sits), Mikal Bridges (25 L10, has been balling with the skeleton crew roster), Duane Washington Jr. (19 L10)

DeAndre Jordan | 10 L10 — Nikola Jokic has been downgraded to doubtful for Friday's game, which means veteran center DeAndre Jordan should be in line for some valuable minutes against a Clippers team that ranks in the bottom half of the league in fantasy points allowed to centers. Jordan put up 31 Sorare Points in his last start in November, and could bring some value at just a 10 cap. Is it sexy — absolutely not. But sometimes you need to hold your nose and take some value where you can!

Also Consider: Bones Hyland (21 L10)
