Game Week Rewind ⏮
We saw some absolutely WILD basketball this weekend. A few of the many highlights that caught my eye:
-
Saturday’s Game of the Year contender — a 176-175 double OT thriller, with the Kings outlasting the Clippers in the second-highest scoring game in NBA history
-
Jayson Tatum with this nasty game-winner on Saturday against the 76ers
-
Nikola Jokic dropping a casual 40, 17, and 10 in an OT win Sunday night
-
Damian Lillard exploding for 71 points and 13 threes in a historic performance against the Rockets
Whew! A fun return to the court after the All-Star Break, to say the least. Speaking of Dame Time — Lillard topped the slate with a whopping 96 Sorare Points Sunday night, followed by Jokic at 84.
Some other players that provided significant value relative to their cap:
-
Naz Reid (66 Sorare Points, +47)
-
Nassir Little (53 Sorare Points, + 43)
-
Malik Monk (58 Sorare Points, +33)
-
Gordon Hayward (58 Sorare Points, +33)
-
De’Aaron Fox (78 Sorare Points, + 33)

Value Plays 🤑

Last Game Week's Value Pick Performances:

Talen Horton-Tucker, 20 L10, 28 Sorare Points (+8) 🆗

Matisse Thybulle, 15 L10, 26 Sorare Points (+11) 🔥
-
Shaedon Sharpe, 19 L10, 14 Sorare Points (-5) ❌
-
Cam Reddish, 16 L10, 34 Sorare Points (+18) 🔥
-
Jalen Suggs, 22 L10, 29 Sorare Points (+7) 🆗

Devonte’ Graham, 21 L10, 27 Sorare Points (+6) 🆗

A very ‘meh’ week from my value plays, with the higher-tier stars absolutely dominating the slate. I also highlighted pretty much every Portland player BESIDES Nassir Little, who ended up being the best play. Swing and a miss!
Game Week 37 Value Picks:
*Note — these selections are based purely on L10 value in lineups — and do not consider the auction or market prices of the players listed.
Mark Williams | 22 L10 and Gordon Hayward | 25 L10 — I am still driving the Mark Williams bandwagon, and the rookie big showed his tremendous upside this past Game Week — putting up 18 points and 20 rebounds (47 Sorare Points) in 28 minutes of action on Saturday. Williams has consistently ranked among the top of the league in fantasy points per minute, and is now seeing steady playing time post-trade deadline.
With PJ Washington doubtful for Monday, Williams should have even more opportunities to shine (if he can stay out of foul trouble) — and at a 22 L10 has some of the highest potential value upside on the slate.
Gordon Hayward has also shown some tremendous upside of late, going for over 50 Sorare Points in two of his last four games. With more usage likely available if Washington sits, Hayward could be in line for another potential ceiling performance this week.
Also Consider: Nick Richards (15 L10), JT Thor (5 L10)
Marvin Bagley | 18 L10, James Wiseman | 13 L10 and Killian Hayes | 22 L10 — The Pistons are going to be seriously shorthanded on Monday, with Jalen Duren, DET (ankle), Bojan Bogdanovic, DET (Achilles), Jaden Ivey, DET (personal) all officially ruled out and Isaiah Stewart (hip) questionable. The lack of players should open up some big-time value for Sorare purposes — particularly in the frontcourt.
Both Marvin Bagley and James Wiseman figure to see a large uptick in minutes — and while Wiseman hasn’t been super exciting since entering the DET rotation, his 13 L10 and ample playing time makes him an attractive flyer. Bagley is coming off a massive 45-point Sorare outing on Saturday, and should be in line for all the minutes he can handle alongside Wiseman.
With Ivey out, Killian Hayes should be the primary ball-handler and see a usage bump — and could also provide some value at a 22 L10.
Also Consider: Isaiah Livers (11 L10), Hamidou Diallo (19 L10)
Daishen Nix | 9 L10 and TyTy Washington | 11 L10 — The Rockets are a bit of a mess right now, and have been getting absolutely demolished as they sit atop the Wembanyama tank leaderboards. Despite the lack of talent and wins, the team has been ripe for Sorare value — particularly at the guard position. With both Jalen Green and Kevin Porter Jr. out over the last few weeks, the door has opened for several fringe players to step into larger roles.
The two biggest beneficiaries have been Daishen Nix and TyTy Washington. Washington has gotten 30+ minutes in two straight, while Nix has seen over 20 minutes in the last two contests. Both will continue to be attractive value options while their cap remains low and the two starting guards remain out.
Also Consider: Tari Eason (23 L10)
Bonus Picks:
-
Kevin Love | 13 L10 — The early results from Love’s move to Miami have been positive, seeing over 20 minutes of action in both contests.
-
Jae’Sean Tate | 15 L10 — Similar to Nix and Washington above — one of the lone bright spots for HOU, locked into a nice role for a shorthanded squad.
-
Cam Reddish | 16 L10 — His cap does not reflect his value since moving to Portland, and has now gone for 25+ Sorare Points in three straight.
