<h3>Digital Animals Public Sale</h3>
After launching their presale on Monday, Digital Animals will begin the public sale process at 1:00 p.m. ET today. The sale will take place on the <a href="https://digitalanimals.club" target="_blank" rel="follow noopener">Digital Animals site</a>, where pieces will be available for mint at 0.1 ETH. Digital Animals attempts a unique innovation, crafting what the team has called "a unique digital soul" for each NFT. Based on wallet analysis metrics as well as Twitter sentiment analysis, each NFT that is minted is attributed a unique soul. The collection has generated more than 80 ETH in volume on the secondary market with a floor around 0.145 ETH at the time of writing.

<h3>XCopy Editions, "Grifters"&nbsp;</h3>
As part of their new marketplace initiative, Async Art is creating collections of editions called Aysnc Blueprints. The first batch of Blueprints is headlined by three notable crypto artists, XCopy, Alotta Money, and Coldie. In today's drop, featured at 3:00 p.m. ET approximately 275 XCopy "Grifter" editions will be put up for public sale. Each Grifter is costs 0.25 ETH and is part of a larger 666 piece collection. More than 300 pieces have already been claimed during the presale process, with a floor being set at 11.25 ETH for Grifter pieces on OpenSea before the public sale begins.&nbsp;

NFT personality and investor Vincent Van Dough has stoked the flames. Van Dough has directly challenged the clause regarding the inability to fractionalize assets by purchasing a Clone X asset and creating a vault for fractionalization on <a href="https://fractional.art/" target="_blank" rel="follow noopener">fractional.art</a>
The act brings in to question whether or not terms of this magnitude can be enforceable on-chain and if so, how RTFKT, and now Nike, plan to deal with it.&nbsp;

<h3>Mecha Melters Launch</h3>
Later today at 5:00 p.m. ET Mecha Melters will go live for public sale minting. Piggybacking on the <a href="https://opensea.io/collection/creepycreams" target="_blank" rel="follow noopener">Alpha Wave of Creepy Creams</a>, the Mecha Melters are a collection of 6,000 metaverse-ready NFTs that are designed to fend off the Creepy Cream hordes. The collection is built into four classes of Melters, and will utilize staking mechanics and more. Only 220 Mecha Melters have been minted in the presale thus far.&nbsp;
Merge Movement Coming Today&nbsp;
The "Merge" mint is still taking place on Nifty Gateway despite the closing of the sale on December 4. After previously releasing an announcement suggesting just a few hours before movement would be enabled, Nifty Gateway updated their stance last night, insisting that all mass NFTs would be minted and available for movement or "merging" by today, December 8. The "Merge" sale thrust Murat Pak into the top spot in total earnings on one sale for a living artist.&nbsp;

Selling for the $GALA equivalent of 0.888 ETH, the NFTs were supposed to go on sale around 5:00 p.m. ET. An announcement in the Gala Games Discord indicated the team will update the community as soon as possible.&nbsp;

<h3>Pak Merge Recap</h3>
Selling roughly 250,000 NFTs this weekend, Pak&rsquo;s "Merge" collection on Nifty Gateway generated upwards of $91 million. Over 26,000 unique collectors participated in the drop, with each mass NFT collected eventually set to merge into each wallet as a single, summed NFT. The final look of the NFT is yet to be released as the metadata that was stored from the weekend&rsquo;s sale needs to be calculated to distinguish attributes.

<h3>New CFO at OpenSea</h3>
After 7 years with Lyft, CFO Brain Roberts will take the same role at OpenSea this week. After taking Lyft public, Roberts joins the list of executives and engineers that have been transitioning toward the web3 ecosystem. Per an article released earlier today, Roberts' plans with OpenSea include <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-12-06/former-lyft-cfo-roberts-joins-crypto-startup-opensea" target="_blank" rel="follow noopener">&ldquo;acquiring companies&rdquo; and &ldquo;expanding the use of NFTs into new industries.&rdquo;</a>
