The metaverse isn't here (yet), but PFPs and digital avatar usage are not going anywhere. And those avatars will need outfits.
Claire Silver is making her bet on that being the case.

On Wednesday, AI art pioneer and Braindrops co-founder Claire Silver announced her first-ever digital fashion project.
Her "corpo | real" will not only be an AI-collaborative fashion collection, it will be a "philosophical exploration of our coming reality."

My initial reaction - 1 ETH is a lot.
But then I looked at the previews. They are pretty stunning.
This is clearly a high quality set and something we haven't really seen before.
For me, the primary open question is - what makes this digital fashion? Will the NFTs be usable in a metaverse / avatar ready?
The answer to that question may dictate some of the price action.
Regardless, this one is likely a slam dunk at 1 ETH (Claire's Genesis Braindrops set holds a 6.95 ETH floor and hit 15+ at peak).
🐵 Bored Apes Return to Basics
Yuga and Bored Apes have been in the headlines lately - but for the wrong reasons.
Community sentiment has been trending down. Talks of the "flippering" (Pudgy Penguins passing BAYC) have heated up. And consensus was that Yuga leadership has been too quiet.
Well we may have our first sign that they understand the issues and are ready. to attack them.
What Happened?
On Wednesday, Bored Apes made several announcements in a "back to basics" message:
- A revamped clubhouse website (the foundation of BAYC)
- A token-gated community survey to gather feedback
- Opening up the BAYC Community Council to new applicants
They also reminded holders of what's coming soon with The Otherside (the first time BAYC avatars will be playable) and Dookey Dash 2 (playable by everyone).
What's also jumped out recently is Yuga's Gaming Council, which includes ~20 people across the Yuga community, NFT Twitter influencers, gaming personalities and more.
Why It Matters
These actions signal that Yuga leadership does want the community's thoughts on how to improve and move forward, and they are putting those members in positions to make an impact on the brand.
They aren't just going to build in silence and roll out updates once per quarter.
It seems like a very positive step forward and shows that Daniel Alegre and Yuga leadership do understand what it takes to garner community in web3.
Now we'll see if the community responds.

- ETH trading volume jumped to $43M on Thursday in the biggest trading day in several months; most of the leaderboard was very red though after days of green
- Pudgy Penguins led top volume on ETH, but retraced to 17.5; Quirklings led top movers up 72%
- 3 Gold Pudgy Penguins were swept for 50 ETH each, bringing the rare skin floor Pengus up to 76 ETH
- Pizza Ninjas led action on BTC with 43 BTC in trading volume, with the floor opening at 0.09 BTC (a 3x for minters)
- ThankYouX sold out his "Terrains" collection on BTC at 0.045 BTC, with the floor briefly spiking to 0.052 (now X)
- Solana NFTs were led by Crypto Undeads, which revealed and fell 40% to a 7.2 SOL floor in an underwhelming result
- New mint Sujiko Warriors, tied to Solana's NFT Perps protocol, minted out at 5 SOL and jumped 60% to 8 SOL overnight
- Trump Digital Trading Cards will make its debut on Bitcoin as part of its recent Mugshot Edition; 200 Ordinals will be created, w/ just 99 left to purchase
- Wasabi rolled out its first week of SZN 2 points and a new leaderboard, highlighting traders' volume, PNL and points accumulated

🗓 Upcoming NFT Mints and Reveals
Today is a slower day of mints after a very busy week.
The highlight is likely Kevin Abosch dropping his "Revoloots" collection on Bitcoin, his first-ever Ordinals. The theme is "the revolution will be televised" featuring people with old-style TV's for heads.
They won't be cheap, priced at 0.03 BTC each for 500 NFTs. So this will test the appetite for art on Bitcoin from a major name.
