Starbucks Web3 Loyalty Platform 'Odyssey' Launching Thursday

Starbucks' Web3 loyalty program will be launching in beta on Thursday, Dec. 8, according to an email sent out on Monday.

'Odyssey' will initially be available to a 'small group of waitlist members', who will be able to participate in activities to earn 'Journey Stamps' and 'Odyssey Points'.

The collectible Journey Stamps and Odyssey Points will unlock "unique benefits and experiences", the email said.

Users that receive an invite to the beta will have three days to register before being re-added to the back of the waitlist, with more members expected to be added each month.

Starbucks Odyssey will only be available to U.S.-based rewards members, according to a previous announcement.
