User Finds Dookey Dash Exploit
Software engineer Cygaar found an exploit in Dookey Dash that allowed the user to run through obstacles, according to a video shared on Twitter.
🧐 Wait, What?
The video showcased shows the user maneuvering through every obstacle type (not around them) while still registering a valid score. Cygaar did not run up the score for demonstration purposes but was able to motor right through the pesky fans and pipes flowing through the sewer setting.
According to Cygaar, it took them approximately two days to find the exploit, and another three to put together a well-functioning proof of concept.
🔜 What’s Next?
Cygaar already shared it with staff security engineer @samwcyo and the rest of the Yuga security team in the interest of protecting game integrity.
This is a perfect example of skilled members of the community working in a collaborative fashion towards a common solution (in this case, fairness for all Dookey Dash players)
