The Chimpers are off on their fifth adventure of the series. The Fluorescent Isles, their next destination, promises an experience filled with diverse regions, creatures, and cultures.

To make the experience even more engaging, the developers have integrated a chat system within the Dojo. This feature allows players to share their adventure experiences, celebrate victories, and even gloat about high rolls, all in real-time.

The new adventure comes with a host of new cards and lore elements. Exciting occurrences like being attacked by a group of Battle Jacket Chimps will make your journey even more unpredictable and thrilling. Players can also gain knowledge about different areas through the hints and narratives provided by Master Chimpo as they navigate the adventure map.

Chimpers NFT launched its second adventure in the series, according to a tweet from the project. 

❗ Why It Matters

This is the start of TBAC Series 2: “The Quest for the Ancient Chronicles," and the first-ever story about the Chimpers from the series. Holders will be able to complete tasks to earn rewards and compete for a grand prize.

The TBAC series 2 will consist of six artworks from Timpers, the project artist and founder. In Series 2 new rewards will be discovered, and some previous rewards may not be available. 

A couple of highlights include: 

• Rewards are distributed at the end of the adventure, except for XP (daily) and Bananas (Daily)
• All Yellow Bandana level Chimpers have received the Amulet Spirit Jewels.
• Exclusive Chimpers Trading Cards to four lucky winners.

If you hold a Chimpers and it is staked in the DOJO, it will be automatically enrolled into the adventure games, however, if you aren't: 

• There is a snapshot of staked Chimpers taken daily at Midnight UTC
• All Chimpers in the snapshot will be able to roll their dice the next day

Timpers, the founder and artist of Chimpers and The Bored Ape Chronicles, is making exclusive 1/1s and editions of their artwork available to Chimpers NFT stakers and TBAC holders, according to an announcement from the project.

Those exclusive artworks are part of "Timpers Pixelworks," a new NFT collection that will house pixelated artworks from Timpers that will ultimately be raffled to active and loyal holders of the artist's NFT projects, most notably those that are training Chimpers NFTs in the project's Dojo. 

The first Pixelworks drop will feature one 1/1, an edition of 10, and an edition of 75. 

Raffle eligibility can be found in the Tweet below. Each NFT that meets the raffle criteria is good for one entry into the raffle. Therefore, users with multiple staked Chimpers NFTs will hold multiple opportunities to be rewarded with a Timpers artwork. 

While Chimpers NFTs hold a floor price of 1.3 ETH, a Timpers 1/1 sold for 6.259 ETH on SuperRare in Nov. 2021.

The first snapshot has not yet been taken but is expected to come soon.

Chimpers holders can try out the project's arcade game, Chimptag, on the Chimpers website.

"Master Chimpo has traveled far and wide in search of the sacred green portal," the tweet that included game announcement said. 

The project has been teasing the importance of green portal recently, with art and other messages. 

Dojo Battles for Chimpers holders are now live according to a post from earlier this afternoon.

Holders who wish to participate in the Dojo Battles can enter their Chimpers NFT into the dojo on the official Dojo Battles website.

Participants will have their strongest stat Chimpers lead their team into battle. The battling is turn-based and whoever goes first is decided via a coin flip according to the official rules outline posted by the team. 

Once in battle, players must first use their base attack, and then after that, they will have the ability to perform their "Special Move" which are not limited to only attacks so players can strategize on the best use of their Special Move.

For Special Moves, all traits of a Chimpers NFT are grouped together in one category out of 21 which determines the animation of the Special Move.

Once a player loses all their health the battle is finished, after which the winner of the fight will receive a 4XP for every Chimper they own while losers will receive 1XP for every Chimpers they own.

Battles will take place every day at 2:00 p.m. ET.

Chimpers Genesis owners can now gain access to a fully animated version of their Chimpers NFT according to a tweet from the project. 

In order to gain access to the free animation file, users will need to join the Chimpers Discord and head to the "full set club" channel. 

No formal details were shared about the animation files, but the tweet seems to indicate that something more may be coming for the animated Genesis Chimpers that have been "brought to life." 

The animation files come a few months after the collection opened the doors to its "Dojo," an area in which users could train Chimpers NFTs to earn rewards. Chimpers is the secondary collection utilizing the Chimpers IP. The original, Chimpers Genesis collection is made up of just 97 NFTs and holds a floor price of 29 ETH at the time of writing. 

Chimpers announced its Chimpers Genesis and TBAC NFT collections are now officially live on its native marketplace. 

The marketplace, which allows users to buy or sell Chimpers NFTs locally without any fees, is accessible at https://marketplace.chimpers.xyz.

Chimpers NFT holders can also use the marketplace to list on other notable NFT marketplaces like X2Y2, LooksRare, and OpenSea. 

Though best known for its largest Chimpers collection (1.12 ETH floor), Chimpers Genesis NFTs hold a floor price of 22 ETH at the time of writing.
