Aiming to expand its impact in gaming, Cool Cats is teaming up with three video game development studios - nWay, iCandy, and Sync Studios - to create immersive games featuring Cool Cats IP.
With nWay, a competitive multiplayer arcade game is in the works. iCandy, on the other hand, is assisting in developing an endless running game. Lastly, Sync Studios is contributing to the creation of a "match3" game, offering a puzzle-like matching experience similar to Candy Crush.
These planned games are expected to hit the market by the end of 2024.

Journey 9 isn't the only major development Cool Cats is introducing. Significant updates to the Cool Score system have been announced, promising a more dynamic and balanced experience for the Cool Cats community.
Among the updates, Shadow Wolf Points have been introduced, contributing 25 points to a holder's Cool Score, subject to a 5% diminishing return for each subsequent Shadow Wolf. This strategic element is designed to make earning points both challenging and rewarding.
The outdated "Participation Scores" have been replaced by "NFT Achievements," recognizing holders of Gold/Silver Season Achievement NFTs, Aurorium, and Umbrium NFTs. This change reflects active participation in Journeys more accurately.
Further changes include adjustments to Cool Pets' contribution to Cool Scores, the removal of the Final Evolution Stage Bonus for Cool Pets, a decrease in the maximum impact from quests, and changes to Cool Cats Football Club (CCFC) scores.

To engage in these journeys, holders must have either a Cool Cat, Cool Pet, or Shadow Wolf. In addition, Fractures, another asset type, must be burned and converted into Shadow Wolves before the mint window closes on May 19 at 3:00 p.m. ET to preserve their utility.
In this second season, the Cool Cats team is introducing two new reward categories. These rewards, unique to each respective group, are divided into four tiers. The reward systems and tiers, carrying distinct significance for the future, look set to heighten the overall participation and excitement around the event.

Shadow Wolves holders will have access to unique Journeys and exclusive items, allowing them to enjoy a diverse range of experiences. To mint a Shadow Wolf, users will need a Cool Cats Fracture and enough Ethereum to cover the gas fee.
The minting period for Shadow Wolves will last from April 20 to May 19. If users fail to burn their Fracture NFTs within this time frame, the Fracture NFTs will become useless. Users can enjoy early access to special drops, releases, exclusive merchandise, real-life events, partnership perks, and more by holding a Shadow Wolf NFT.

The introduction of Shadow Wolves NFTs starts another chapter in the growing IP of the Cool Cats brand, which just swapped minority equity stakes with Futureverse.
