Degen Toonz provided new information regarding the project's upcoming Reward System on Wednesday, announcing a 2022 Q4 release.
The blog, which includes details regarding the technical developments of the platform, also revealed that Reward Points will now be called "Toon Tokens".
The Degen Toonz floor is currently 0.49 ETH, up 14 percent over the last seven days.
Degen Toonz, an NFT metaverse access pass project, recently held an election for 11 open spots in its DAO committee.

"This committee will be made up of 11 community members, voted on by you all to represent the community and bring forth DAO proposals," the Snapshot vote reads. "These members will liaise and collaborate with the community to gather DAO proposals. The 11 members will vote amongst themselves to select those proposals that should be put to a community wide vote."
This new committee will oversee, manage, and vote on proposals.
"When a DAO proposal receives a majority of at least six votes by the committee, it will be presented to the team and put up for community wide voting," the DAO Committee vote page reads. "To ensure a fair voting system within the committee, all members who participate in this committee will all have a singular, and equal vote. This system is not based on the amount of Toonz held."
Degen Toonz announced that its holders are now eligible to enter a raffle where they have the chance to win one of five VaynerSports Pass NFTs in a recent tweet.
For holders who wish to sign up for the raffle, they must first navigate to the official raffle website. From there they will sign up for an account and enter their wallet, after that users will navigate to the raffle homepage and select the Degen Toonz raffle.
Users have until the raffle closes on Oct. 24 at 1:00 p.m. ET to enter and will have their prize airdropped to their wallet if selected.
Degen Toonz announced today, Sep. 9, that its new merchandise in collaboration with Steve Aoki's Dim Mak Collection clothing brand will go on sale tomorrow, Sep. 10, at 12 p.m. ET.
"We are super pumped to announce that we are dropping the official Dim Mak and Degen Toonz collaboration tomorrow," the company wrote on Instagram. "All the styles feature brand new illustrations - [definitely] check it out before it’s gone forever."
Dim Mak Collection is the clothing brand associated with Steve Aoki's Dim Mak Records, an LA-based record label that specializes in punk, indie rock, hardcore, hip hop, and electronic dance music.
Dim Mak Collection has also partnered with other NFT projects and globally recognized brands like Dragon Ball Z, MetaZoo Games, Rick and Morty, Street Fighter, and more.
Degen Toonz announced that it will unlock its merchandise store next week and remove token-gated requirements to purchase items.
The Degen Toonz merch store will close for maintenance at midnight ET and reopen next week with restrictions for non-holders removed.
"Once we unlock it next week, the apparel will no longer be token gated and everyone will be able to purchase," the team wrote in a tweet. "If you are currently eligible to purchase apparel on our site, we encourage doing so now."
The team made it clear that certain styles and restocks are not guaranteed, so holders with token-gated access should get the merchandise they want prior to the store closing for maintenance tonight.
The only exception is the Minters Reward t-shirt, which will remain token-gated after the change and available to claim for all eligible participants.
The first Degen Toonz merchandise collection went live on Jul. 22 and is available at shop.degentoonz.io.
Degen Toonz announced its first apparel collection on Friday afternoon. The apparel can only be purchased in the shop and is token gated to Degen Toonz and Detonated Toon holders only. Holders of a Minter Rewards Card can claim their free T-Shirt at this time. Each wallet is allowed one item per style.
Payments can be made via Credit Card, PayPal, and Cryptocurrencies. Shipping is free for purchases from over the world.
The team has cautioned buyers to start the process once they are ready to complete the purchase, as you will not be able to go back into your cart to complete the transaction later.
Degen Toonz, an 8,888-piece NFT membership collection, announced today that detonation is back live and old users will have to upgrade their NFTs to the project's newest smart contract.
Detonation is a process similar to Mutant Ape Yacht Club's serum, which Bored Ape Yacht Club holders had to claim and interact with to create. Holders must claim dynamite NFTs, then detonate their Degen Toonz to create a new NFT.
For those that have not already detonated, the follow the procedure on the new smart contract. For those that have already detonated, migrate the previously detonated Degen Toonz NFTs to the project's newest smart contract.

There are two different types of dynamite: standard and radioactive. The floor price on standard dynamite is currently 0.55 ETH, while radioactive dynamite is 1.5 ETH.
The detonation event started on Jun. 21.
Degen Toonz announced it is partnering with Jarritos, a 72-year-old beverage brand in a tweet this morning.
Jarritos, which is headquartered in Mexico City, is most popular for its fruit-flavored sodas.
No additional details about the partnership were shared, though Degen Toonz indicated more information about the collaboration would be shared in the following weeks.
The partnership will mark the official entrance to web3 for Jarritos.
At the time of writing, Degen Toonz NFTs have a floor price of 1.11 ETH.
