The Bulk

In the immersive world of Legends of the Mara, a new feature is set to debut: Kodamara Fusion. This process allows players, referred to as Voyagers, to evolve their Mara creatures using a variety of Catalysts introduced in the game's second season.

These Catalysts, known as Creation Season Catalysts, come in six distinct types. Each type not only imparts unique visual traits to the Kodamara but also contributes to a random and unique combination of these traits, making every evolved Mara distinct. The process of Fusion is irreversible, adding a layer of strategy and consideration to each player's decision.

Furthermore, a Mara’s tier and role significantly influence the in-game stats and skills of the evolved Kodamara. This ties in with the game's strategic elements, where choosing the right Mara to evolve can have a profound impact on gameplay. Additionally, players can look forward to using Sediment Fragments, a future feature, to further enhance their Kodamaras.

The Bulk

Legends of the Mara, the upcoming game from the Otherside Metaverse, offers players a variety of strategic choices and playstyles. The game revolves around three types of Vessels: Hunters, Farmers, and Enchanters. By nesting a Vessel, players can hatch a corresponding Mara with unique abilities and functions.

Once a Mara is hatched, it can be assigned to an Otherdeed. Depending on its type, the Mara will farm Sediment Fragments, hunt, or perform an exclusive task related to Enchanters, which will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Players can transform their Maras into powerful Kodamaras by combining them with Sediment Fragments and a Seasonal Catalyst. A Kodamara's appearance, trait rarity, and game function are influenced by the player's choices. The recipe for creating the rarest Kodamara has been lost, encouraging players to experiment with different combinations.

Defeating The Shattered, mysterious titans that emerged after the Vessels descended, rewards players with rare and exclusive treasures. Efficiently defeating these adversaries increases the value of the treasure obtained.

The Otherside shared new details for how Sediment tiers will matter, with higher tiers correlating to higher production.

The Details

  • The higher your Sediment tier, the more Sediment Fragments your Otherdeed will produce.
  • Otherdeeds with Sediment tier 3 have the best production, while Sediment tier 1 has the least.
  • A Farmer on an Otherdeed Expanded enables Fragment harvest.
  • Additional Farmers and Enchanters enhance the production.

Last week's update divulged that higher level tiers enable more workers on the plots, and this week's update brought news that Sediment tiers influence production and that production can be enhanced with additional Farmers and Enchanters.
