PROOF had initially released plans for the shift in August, during its 'Future Proof' community stream. In-chain (more commonly known as 'on-chain') refers to the image of the NFT being fully stored within the smart contract code, instead of pointing to an external IPFS (distributed peer-to-peer network).

The premiere of 'Birds In-Chain' will be released on YouTube at 3 p.m. EST, and coincide with a live Q&A session in Discord, according to the announcement.
