The Doge Pound NFT Overview

The Doge Pound is a unique digital collection of 10,000 NFT “doges” carefully chosen by Professor Elon. Each one is thoughtfully designed, specifically picked, and impeccably shaped. Each Doge Pound has been constructed algorithmically by mixing a variety of properties with different possibilities in the following categories: background, clothing, earring, eyes, eyewear, mouth, fur, and hat.  

The Doge Pound released a secondary drop for Doge holders on September 1 that gives them the ability to mint ‘puppies’ for the price of gas. Once minted, puppies are waiting in crates. This means that you can decide yourself if you want to reveal your puppy or keep it sealed. When revealed a little fun animation will occur and your puppy's crate will open. This is also the minting process. Shortly after your puppy is revealed and minted, you will be able to see your puppy NFT on OpenSea.  

The next project The Doge Pound plans to release is its 3D collection featuring short revolving three-dimensional doges. The clips will contain original musical content from Steve Aoki and Trey Songz.

The 3D collection is expected to be released in late 2021.

On Christmas Day 2021, The Doge Pound team made available Christmas Puppies to select particpants who qualified and a small group of public participants. 

In February 2022, Doge Pound released its updated roadmap, including a new merchandise store, play-to-earn game for Puppies, and metaverse. The team also announced the release of 3D Puppies, a party in Vegas, a utility token, a mobile app, and more.
