Daily NFT Volume Report | Yuga Leading The Charge

NFT NYC officially ended on Friday, giving market participants time to digest what they saw from their favorite NFT projects and more importantly get back home to their wallets and start trading NFTs.

Below we've gathered all the most notable volume changes in the secondary NFT markets. For more information on the real-time NFT market, refer to our project rankings page

*All data is taken from the Lucky Trader Project Rankings page and is based on the last 24 hours of volume.

Yuga Labs NFTs

Project Volume (ETH) Volume Change Floor Price (ETH) Floor Price Change
Otherdeeds 1,820.0 +55.96% 2.96 +31.56%
Bored Ape Yacht Club 1,427.0 +12.54% 91.50 -0.18%
Mutant Ape Yacht Club 741.0 +9.94% 18.29 +0.55%
Bored Ape Kennel Club 61.0 -17.57% 6.39 -1.24%

Otherdeeds NFTs have been dominating the market and got another announcement boost in the last hour as Yuga Labs announced an upcoming "First Trip" for July 16. The project has done the most volume of any project today and is the only project with at least a 1.0 ETH floor to have an increase of more than 30 percent.

Otherdeeds NFTs were running long before the announcement today, similar to Punks the week prior. Shortly after the large CryptoPunks run an announcement came with more CryptoPunks IP news and the addition of Noah Davis to the team.

The other Yuga NFTs, Bored Ape Yacht Club and Mutant Ape Yacht Club, were considered big winners in terms of sentiment at NFT NYC. On the final day of ApeFest the project had popular hip-hop artists Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Lil Wayne perform at the event.

On top of their performance, Eminem and Snoop released a music video for their new song "From the D 2 The LBC" which features both artists' Bored Ape NFTs in the video. The video currently has more than nine million views on YouTube, making it the most viewed full-length video featuring NFTs on the streaming site.

Bored Ape Kennel Club is the only Ape-related NFT asset trending down both in volume and floor price. The dogs were used as a multiplier for the previous ApeCoin drop and have not seen any additional utility outside of that, which could be leaving holders and prospective buyers wondering if the best from the Kennel Club has already come.

Doodles and Azuki

Project Volume (ETH) Volume Change Floor Price (ETH) Floor Price Change
Doodles 251.0 +16.20% 12.90  +1.98%
Dooplicator 208.0 +13.40% 2.40 +7.66%
Azuki 161.0 +22.90% 10.90 -0.91%
Beanz 30.0 -28.57% 1.24 -0.40%

Doodles and its recent expansion collection Dooplicator arguably had the most riding on its NFT NYC events as the reveal of Dooplicator was finally on the cusp of happening.

The market initially reacted kindly to the news as the Doodles floor touched north of 15.0 ETH with Dooplicator touching just below 5.0 ETH after the announcement of Doodles 2 and popular artist Pharrell Williams coming on the team as the Chief Brand Officer.

Since touching those levels there has been a pullback on both collections with Dooplicator revealing its rarities that featured more than 60 percent of its NFTs being "Very Common" in rarity. As is typical for rare lotteries, volume slowed and the floor price dipped.

Azuki put on what many users deemed to be a "Disney level" party at their event. While most holders and prospective buyers would normally view that as a win, the floor price of the collection is back to where it was pre-NFT NYC.

At the project's last event known as the "Garden Party," holders were told to "check their wallets" which were airdropped two NFTs. Those NFTs transformed into BEANZ Official, a companion NFT that almost immediately was trading for 3 ETH. This party, however, did not end with an additional NFT, but that doesn't mean there wasn't anything to speculate on.

After the event, many speculated about the project's founder Zagabond wearing a jacket with "Black Jade Mahjong Club" on the back, leaving many wondering what is in store for the collection.

Moonrunners and Milady Maker

Project Volume (ETH) Volume Change Floor Price (ETH) Floor Price Change
Moonrunners 1,566.0 +88.00% 0.75 +68.89%
Milady Maker 167.0 +89.77% 0.88 +20.55%

Moonrunners is the latest free-mint project that has been received well by the NFT market. The project is second in volume traded in our project rankings today. Many see Moonrunners as "the next goblintown.wtf," given its free mint and near-instant success. We'll let the market decide if Moonrunners can rise to goblintown.wtf tier, but it is worth noting that the project has done more volume than Bored Ape Yacht club over the last 24 hours.

Milady Maker, a popular NFT project on Crypto Twitter, has resurged following NFT NYC. The project initially took off late in Spring 2022 after it was announced that one of its parties was apparently under an FBI investigation.

The project eventually rose above a 2 ETH floor price but quickly subsided after an article on CoinDesk alleged some nefarious backgrounds on the project's history and founders. At this time, that seems to be a distant memory, as the market as the project now only trails Moonrunners in volume amongst NFT projects with less than a 1.0 ETH floor.

More about Otherdeed for Otherside

Otherdeeds NFTs are land plot NFTs for use in the Yuga Labs' Otherside Metaverse project. Each Otherdeed NFT has select attributes, like sediments and artifacts, and corresponding tier rarities from 1-5. In addition to artifacts and sediments, select Otherdeed NFTs hold a special character called a Koda. An additional 100,000 Otherside NFTs are set to be released at a later date.
