NFL All Day Closed Beta Pack Drop
Dapper Labs rolled out more closed beta invites this week to those on the waitlist for their NFL product, NFL All Day. All Day has been in closed beta since Week 13 of the NFL season, only allowing a select set of members to purchase packs and collect their All Day Moments. Today's pack release will feature 22,000 total packs - 18,612 standard packs at $49, and 3,168 premium packs at $249.
Art Blocks Factory Drops
Two more Art Blocks Factory drops line the Friday calendar at noon and 3:00 p.m. ET, respectively. At noon, "Summoning Ritual" by PZS goes live with 1,024 pieces in a Dutch auction starting at 3 ETH. The price will decrease every five minutes until a final resting price of 0.15 ETH.
After dropping a 1,000 piece collection on Brain Drops earlier this week, Devi Parikh will drop a 200 piece collection, "Cushions" via Art Blocks Factory. This collection has a fixed price of 0.15 ETH per NFT. Parikh's collection, "Confluence" that dropped on Brain Drops earlier this week sits at a 0.17 ETH floor at the time of writing.
Cryptocurrency Market Slides
Though the sample is relatively small, typically when the cryptocurrency market sells off, NFTs have an opportunity to flourish. Perhaps as a result of those who price their assets in USD seeing a rising ETH cost as a moot point as its dollar pair heads in the other direction. At midnight ET, the price of Bitcoin had dipped 3.8% in the last 24 hours, with ETH seeing an even greater dip (7.8%) to approximately $3,200.
Some major collections, like Bored Ape Yacht Club, Doodles, and CryptoPunks have held their own against a bear market sniff test. But we've yet to see the potential impacts of a truly prolonged downturn in the broader cryptocurrency markets.
