Today the House Committee on Financial Services met on the topic of digital assets and the future of finance. Hearing testimony from six CEOs from across crypto industries such as Coinbase CEO Alesia Jeanne Haas and Samuel Bankman-Fried, CEO of FTX. The conversation covered topics ranging from electricity and regulations to financial innovation surrounding the crypto ecosystem. Digital assets like NFTs were highlighted during a majority of the hearing, thanks in small part to their recent emergence into the mainstream.
