NFTerra: Orbital Command's Terra dApp Expo 2022 Showcases Top NFT and DeFi Projects

NFTerra: Orbital Command's Terra dApp Expo 2022 Showcases Top NFT and DeFi Projects

Terra (LUNA) quickly established itself as one of crypto's premier blockchains with its ever-expanding and unique ecosystem of decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols. Now, Terra NFTs are growing into a formidable alternative to the dominant Ethereum-based projects, especially in the P2E (play-to-earn) space due to Terra's low transaction fees.

This article highlights three of the most important Terra NFT news items each week. This week: Terra dApp Expo is coming to Austin, OnePlanet NFT marketplace adds Galactic Punks and LunaBulls, and Department 77's Deus MK1 NFT project sells out.

The two-day event will take place at the AT&T Hotel & Conference Center on Jun. 9 and 10 and feature top Terra NFT and DeFi projects and protocols. The Terra dApp Expo will host an exhibition hall, gaming room, workshop presentations, a "speed dating" round for founders and investors, and more.

Featured events include an NFT museum sponsored by OnePlanet NFT, a media stage sponsored by Terra Bites, and an after party sponsored by TeFi Alpha.

Confirmed NFT projects so far include Playible (a fantasy sports dApp), Levana (a play-to-earn dragon training game), and Galactic Punks (a pfp project with a staking mechanism for holders).

General tickets are $149 per person for early bird registration, and VIP tickets are $499 per person for early bird registration.

On Mar. 23, OnePlanet announced the upcoming listing of Galactic Punks and LunaBulls on its NFT marketplace.

OnePlanet is one of Terra's premier NFT marketplaces, and Galactic Punks and LunaBulls are two of the most respected projects on Terra.

Until now, OnePlanet only offered a secondary marketplace for NFTs launched on its platform, including Derby Stars, the Road to Mars, Deus MK1, and more. Adding previously launched projects expands OnePlanet's significance within the Terra NFT community.

The battle to become the OpenSea of Terra continues to rage on between Random Earth, Talis Protocol, Knowhere Art, Breach, Luart, and more.

Department 77's Deus MK1 NFT Project Sells Out

On Mar. 17, Department 77 sold out its collection of 333 Deus MK1 NFTs.

Each bounty hunter character will go on missions to earn rewards in the project's upcoming web3 sci-fi play-to-earn game.

Similar to DeFi Kingdom, Department 77 is attempting to make DeFi yields and rewards easier to understand and more interesting for beginners via NFTs and games.

All "box fresh" models of Deus MK1s received a "twin" NFT. Syncing them together makes holders eligible for a yet-to-be-announced reward.
