Yuga Labs Reinstates Bored Ape Kennel Club Royalty

Yuga Labs has turned back on the 2.5 percent royalty fee associated with secondary trading of Bored Ape Kennel Club, according to a tweet from the company.
The announcement is rather timely, considering the boost in Bored Ape Kennel Club trading that was unlocked with the project's most recent update on the Trial of Jimmy The Monkey. BAKC has traded 1,286 ETH in secondary volume on OpenSea in the last 24 hours, a 2,014 percent increase from the previous 24-hour period.
It didn't take long for the company to make the move, which seemingly started with an innocent tweet from project co-founder, Wylie Aronow.
Should Yuga turn back on the 2.5% royalty for doggos after a year of collecting none so we can stop rugging ourselves and actually develop more cool shit for them?

Aronow has spoken at length about the importance of royalties, providing a lengthy Substack article about the need for creator support.
It took less than 24 hours from the time of Aronow's tweet for the project to reinstate the royalties.
