Castaways announced the completion of the Genesis airdrop on Monday, with 817 unrevealed characters distributed to whitelisted users and Island or Raft holders.
Castaways Genesis holds a 0.43 ETH floor following the release, with the NFTs divided into envelopes from four airlines as part of a multi-stage reveal beginning next Monday.

Like DigiDaigaku Genesis, the Castaways Genesis characters will be 'factory' assets — which continue to receive airdrops of other in-game assets.
Users were also able to begin opening treasure chests on Monday, which were airdropped to active users in early November and contain a variety of NFTs in the ecosystem (including Rafts, Islands, and Characters).
The team also detailed more information regarding 'The Homestead Update', a new phase of the Castaways game., in a town hall on Monday.
Castaways Raft and Island holders who circumvent royalties on purchases will not receive future airdrops, project founder Dayton Mills tweeted on Wednesday.

Mills did not clarify whether the policy applied to previous purchases.
The free mint island survival sandbox game recently teased a new airdrop coming on Nov. 28 to Raft, Island, and Island Members.
The floor price of Rafts is currently 13 ETH, while the 500-NFT Islands collection sits at 3.40 ETH.
Castaways is airdropping NFTs to Raft holders, island stakers, and island members on Nov. 28, according to a Discord message.
Raft holders will be dropped "the very best," the project announced.
Castaways originally announced that an airdrop was coming to its "Top 10,000 players."
Holders of DigiDaigaku Adventure Keys — Castaways must use their item in-game by today to earn a 'Treasure Chest' whitelist spot, Limit Break founder Gabriel Leydon tweeted.
Treasure Chests are an upcoming free airdrop, and will contain other items from the Castaways ecosystem — including islands and rafts.
Adventure Keys currently hold a 0.27 ETH floor, up 7 percent over the last week.
Castaways — Rafts sit at a 19.4 ETH floor, but have had only two sales in the last seven days on the 100-item collection. Islands are currently trading at a 2.8 ETH floor.

Castaways, an island survival game in Sandbox, announced it would be doing an airdrop in a recent tweet.
The team recently did a giveaway of allowlist spots for its Islands but had more than 25,000 users enter while only having 250 spots to giveaway. Since the conclusion of the giveaway, the team announced to celebrate it would be sending out an airdrop "for our top 10,000 players!"
There are currently no more available details regarding the giveaway but the team did say more details would be coming out during its Town Hall next week.
DigiDaigaku is teaming up with Branch's Castaways, a blockchain-based island survival sandbox game, for a new Adventure Quest, according to a tweet late last night.
The Adventure Quest will unlock a brand new, unique Genesis DigiDaigaku character within the Castaways' gaming ecosystem, and it is expected to launch this October.
"Ride your raft into the sunset," the team said on Twitter. "We can't wait, it's going to be an amazing adventure."
Gabriel Leydon, the CEO of DigiDaigaku, suggested this is one of many upcoming collaborations.
"Many noticed when we put out the AdventureERC721 token that Adventure Quests would allow DigiDaigaku NFTs to connect to other web3 and web2 games in unique ways," he said. "While we are making [our] own games, our aim is to make the Digi Universe interoperable with as many worlds as possible."
And new announcements are coming soon.
"While you may have seen other NFT projects throw events in games, this will be different," Leydon continued. "Next week, we will share the implications of the AdventureERC721 token, questing system, and a new business model that we believe will transform how collaborations are done in web3."
Dayton Mills, the frontman behind Castaways - The Raft, made a couple of major announcements surrounding the project in a recent tweet.
Holders of The Raft will soon have the option to burn their current NFT in exchange for a Genesis Island.
Owning a Genesis Island will entitle holders to "royalties from all of the materials sold in the game on the grand exchange."
Before the burning for The Raft NFTs goes live, all holders of The Raft will be airdropped a portion of the project's upcoming token.
The current floor price of Castaways - The Raft sits at 18.88 ETH according to the Lucky Trader Project Rankings.
