Tomorrow starts the burning event for Defybirds, allowing holders a chance to get their hands on a Legendary Glitch version of the collaboration between artist Des Lucrece and Moonbirds according to an announcement from the project.

❗ Why It Matters

Nudebird-trait Moonbirds that were nested before Mar. 8 and selected Des Lucréce holders will be eligible to participate in the burn event using their Defybirds. The burn will offer a special Glitch Bird NFT from one of the most notable artists in 2023. Additionally, perhaps in response to some criticism about the trait-based airdrops, PROOF also airdropped 185 Defybirds to random nested Moonbirds holders.

🔎 The Deets

To claim a Glitch Defybird, you will need to burn one of each color of a single species of DefyBird, of which there are eight in total. The burning event will open at noon ET on Friday, Mar. 17.
