Hapebeast Prime Reveal
Hapebeast Prime revealed today after selling out on January 19. After holding a 7-8 ETH floor since release, many in the NFT community were expecting a sell off during reveal. Although down to 6.2 ETH, at time of writing, the retrace is not all that exaggerated. Even better for Hapebeast Prime they have done roughly 7,000 ETH in secondary sales today potentially signaling the ecosystem is interested in the art and utility Hape has to offer. With OpenSea outages the last few days its volume is especially impressive. Check out the full collection below.
Karafuru Presale
Karafuru NFT began its presale today for its 5,555 generative arts where "colors reign supreme." With a Gacha spin mechanism and colorful anime style these NFTs have burst on to the scene. Trading roughly 4,000 ETH this afternoon since the presale began, the floor has held above 4.5 ETH. The public sale will resume tomorrow with the remaining collection going at 9:00 a.m. ET.
Nintendo Mentions Metaverse
In a recent Q&A session Nintendo mentioned minor interest in the concept of NFTs and the metaverse. Although seemingly just acknowledging the recent rise in NFT and metaverse technology, Nintendo did not confirm any goals or moment to move into web3. The transcribed quote regarding web3 plans sums up Nintendo's position clearly "If we can find a way to communicate our 'Nintendo approach’ to many people in an easy-to-understand manner, we may be able to consider something, but we do not believe that this is the case at this time."
