Wednesday started with a bang, as Uniswap announced that its NFT platform is officially live, and accompanied that announcement with an airdrop for everyone who used Genie prior to Apr. 15. Now rival marketplace Blur was not to be outdone, announcing later in the day that its upcoming airdrop will be 10x the size of their first airdrop, and extending their farming window through Dec. 5 (seemingly to steal early Uniswap market share).
There were several other major NFT project announcements Wednesday. Jenkins The Valet announced a new podcast featuring members of 12 potential partner communities. Farokh and Rug Radio announced PFPs coming for Rug Genesis holders. Zeneca's ZenAcademy launched their "Summoning" process for the first step in their roadmap, the ZenChests. And DigiDaigaku founder Gabe Leydon announced that its Super Bowl ad will feature the first ever live free mint.
All of this news did not move the markets all that much. Volume came in at 6,400 ETH traded on OpenSea, and it was the Yuga assets in their typical top spots on the volume board (all chopping again). Fontana had a huge night, seeing new ATH sales in the 20 ETH range, while yesterday's Art Blocks Curated drop "Pre-Process" surged 40 percent from its 4.8 ETH mint price to 6.8 ETH. The Memes by 6529 saw its floor rally over 40% to 0.24 ETH as its latest card drop "Morning's Eve" ran a full 10x from 0.06529 ETH mint price to 0.69 ETH. And Killa Bears continue their surge, now 3.3 ETH, and saw a new ATH sale of 40 ETH yesterday.
In Web3 news, Animoca Brands plans to launch a $2B investment fund focused on metaverse and Web3 companies. BMW has filed trademarks for NFTs, virtual goods, and Metaverse technology. And Toys R Us NFTs are coming to the Solana blockchain.

Today is another huge day for new drops. RTFKT kicks things off this morning with their Eggs from Project Animus going live this morning. This will likely be the major liquidity focus of the day, with Blur farming still in full swing through next week. With a 20,000 NFT supply, and a reveal coming some time in 2023, this is a risky investment but could be a nice swing trade across the next few days.
On the upper end of the market, Ringers artist Dimitri Cherniak is launching his newest project Light Years, in a Dutch Auction that has a final resting price of 10 ETH. With just 100 NFTs in the set, this one will likely go quite high (15 ETH+), and given the success of recent high price art drops in QQL and SuperRare's RarePass, this one will likely have some upside for those who have the funds to play.
