Pudgy Penguins were the talk of NFT Twitter on Monday, as two massive sweeps of 28 and 29 Pengus respectively helped catapult the collection all the way to a 4.4 ETH floor (+18% on the day). Pudgy owner Luca Netz was definitely one of the winners coming out of Art Basel with several notable collectors and personalities singing his praises, and the market has responded in kind. There was a 21 ETH gold Pengu sale overnight, and it does not feel like momentum has stalled.
On the opposite end of the spectrum is the RTFKT ecosystem, which dropped a bombshell on Monday that their new physicals will not be shippable outside of the US. That important detail, along with the fact that MNLTH 2 is essentially a coupon code for their new auto-lacing physicals (though holders will be getting MNLTH 3 airdropped), led many to dump their RTFKT NFTs. Clone X fell to 6 ETH (-12%), the Eggs fell to 0.88 ETH (-18.5%), and MNLTH 2 fell a whopping 83 percent after its snapshot, as the other wearables and pods each fell 20-50 percent. Co-founder ClegFX spoke up after seeing the community upset, stating they will worth together to come up with a solution and are "deeply sorry for the communication."
In other NFT market news, Yuga projects led volume though floor prices are steady. ApeCoin staking is now officially live in the pre-deposit period through Dec. 12, and $APE is sitting at $4.07 also steady on the day and week. Notable winners from Monday came from the Art Blocks ecosystem, with Flux, RASTER, and Contractions each seeing 20-80 percent gains.
The Blur airdrop 2 landed Monday evening, requiring users to make a collection bid on the platform prior to claiming and setting the stage for Airdrop 3 coming next, based on bid volume. Starbucks' Web3 loyalty program "Odyssey" is launching Thursday in beta mode. And Azuki had two pieces of news, hiring a partnership lead Wally Sajimi (who has worked with A$AP Rocky), and debuting their latest PBT-enabled product in their recent hoodie drop.

The mint of today is definitely LOVE by Martin Grasser. The tennis-inspired generative art project uses real in-match data from the Nitto ATP Finals in Italy for input data, with the algo creating outputs of tennis balls hitting different spots on the court with different color patterns. The collection is 300 supply and will be minted in a Dutch auction starting at 3 ETH and ending at 0.3 ETH. Given Grasser's Art Blocks Presents project "Squares" is holding a 2.85 ETH floor for 196 supply, there is a real chance today's Dutch auction goes above 1-1.5 ETH. If it falls below that, it's likely a very solid mint from an ROI standpoint. The risk is that this is a one-off set and thus not in the Art Blocks ecosystem. But the outputs are beautiful, and minters will at least have the art to fall back on.
