Starbucks' Odyssey loyalty program will launch an Aku-inspired NFT journey for members, pledging a $100,000 donation to a children's food security charity, according to a report from CoinDesk.

In a new collaboration, Starbucks partnered with the Aku to release an Aku-inspired NFT journey, "Aku Adventure."
Members of the Odyssey program will have the opportunity to embark on the "Aku Adventure" from July 17 until August 13, 2023. Simultaneously, Starbucks has committed to donate $100,000 to Blessings in a Backpack, a non-profit organization focused on addressing food insecurity among children.

Akutars, the PFP project from artist Micah Johnson, announced Aku Cribs in a Twitter thread this afternoon.
Built with Unreal Engine 5, the same software used by Epic Games, Aku Cribs is a collection of indoor and outdoor homes for the Akutar digital identities.
Each Aku Crib will allow holders to do the following:
• Swap homes among all owned Akutars
• Combine and play as a fully rigged 3D identity
• Display art on the Aku Crib walls
• Watch Aku Chapters and videos on a movie screen
• Arrange and size the Aku Crib environment
• Draft and save Aku Crib arrangements

Wen Cribs?
The Akutar team has been busy building Cribs over the last few months and is opening a private early alpha for 50 users from the Akutar community starting today.
The private alpha group will be in charge of intense bug hunting prior to making the release available to a larger alpha group later this year.
Official details on gaining access to the early alpha groups was not provided in the team's original announcement.
Akutars is granting commercial rights to its Mega OG NFT holders, according to a recent tweet from the team.
The Mega OG registration is now live here.
To complete the registration, holders will have to provide their full legal names, business names (if applicable), place of birth, address, phone number, and email.
They will also have to provide the wallet address where the Akutar NFT is held, a website for their business (if applicable), the Akutar ID number, and how the holder plans to commercialize or otherwise use their Mega OG Akutar.
Registrations will then be reviewed, processed, and approved by the Akutars team.
Mega OG Akutars make up a subsection of the Akutars collection. There are 529 total, and the floor price is 4.69 ETH as of writing.
The official claim period for holders of Aku X Planes crown NFTs is officially live. The claim website can be accessed here.
To claim, holders will have to exchange their NFT Aku X Planes crown NFTs, or hats, or the physical version. There are 323 total Aku X Planes NFTs with 273 owners and a floor price of 0.42 ETH.
The exchange website is expected to be open until the end of 2022.
The claim website requires holders to connect their crypto wallets to verify that they own the required NFT.
NFT personalities are already lining up to claim their Aku X Planes hats.
"So excited to claim these," Pranksy wrote on Twitter. "[I] love a good physical NFT redemption."
Akutars NFT holders with the planes trait have officially received an airdrop. The official link for the airdrop is here.
The NFT, called Paper Planes Special Package, is unopened. There are currently 272 owners and 323 total NFTs in the Akutar Accessories collection.
More special deliveries from the team are on the way soon. Planes trait holders should have received two airdrops. Team titans holders will receive three airdrops. Mega OGs will receive one airdrop. And all holders will receive one airdrop.

SpringHill, a video production company created by LeBron James and Maverick Carter, announced it is partnering with Micah Johnson's Aku IP in a tweet this afternoon.
Johnson responded to the announcement, noting that SpringHill "embodies everything that Aku stands for."
Only a small video was shared in the announcement tweet, but more details are expected soon.
All Akutar NFT holders are receiving a Team Titans airdrop in collaboration with Planes on June 7. The contents of the special packages have not yet been revelaed.
The airdrop allocation is:
- Everyone - 1 airdrop
- Mega OGs - 1 airdrop
- Team Titans Holders - 3 airdrops
- Planes Trait Holders - 2 airdrops
