BYOPills have announced that the claiming of Anniversary pills has opened. Holders of any BYO asset at the time of the one-year anniversary are eligible to mint the NFT for free plus gas fees. The initial mint of BYOPills began on July 16, 2021.
The Anniversary Pill is an ERC-1155 collection to commemorate the past year and what the community has built. The BYOPill Year 1 NFT is the first of the BYO Exclusives Collection.
The Anniversary Pull drop is separate from the Lost Boy Cassette Snapshot that was announced on July 24 for holders of a BYOPill and Lost Boy NFT.
The floor price for the OG BYOPill collection is 0.29 ETH at the time of this writing. Earlier this week, the BYO team completed updates on its BYOVERSE map, allowing holders to explore the new virtual world.
BYOPills announced that it is running a trivia contest with prizes in a recent tweet.
Participants must enter on the BYO website and answer ten questions correctly in at least one of the four surveys to win the challenge.
Users who can pass the "BYOKNOWLEDGE" test will be entered into a raffle to win a BYOPills NFT.
BYOPills announced via Twitter that its highly-anticipated land selection is coming soon with the map explorer going live on May 31.
The map explorer will initially launch in explore-only mode, which means NFT holders can see the BYOVerse but cannot select their land parcels. Explore-only mode will be live for two weeks, then land selection will take place. More details on exact dates and times are expected in the coming days.
Before selecting their land, BYOLand holders should understand how trade routes work. Despite being able to teleport in the metaverse, transporting resources to and from the market is an important aspect of the BYOVerse gameplay.
Each region has towns and outposts, and most of the trading will occur in towns. When purchasing resources from a specific town, those resources will remain in that town until an Apostle (presumably riding a BYOCraft) travels to town and collects them. The same is true of selling. To sell, Apostles will have to travel to a town or outpost.
BYOLand in the middle of nowhere is safer, but it takes much more time to travel to towns and outposts. And road quality also matters. If the roads are old and deteriorated, it will be harder to travel on them.
If you don't want to waste all that time travelling, use a BYOCraft or teleportation portal, but remember, the costs are high.

Ubisoft Quartz to Integrate NFTs
Ubisoft is launching Quartz on the Tezos Blockchain, with the first NFT drop coming on December 9. These NFTs come in the form of in-game cosmetics for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint. To qualify for the top-tier helmet, NFT users will need to have 600 hours of in-game playtime. This is the first big step for an AAA game studio into the world of NFTs.
DraftKings Pairs With NFLPA
The NFLPA announced this morning that players will be able to license their names, images, and likeness rights to DraftKings NFT Marketplace during the 2022-2023 season. After a partnership with Dapper Labs earlier this year, the NFL looks to the sports betting giant and expand their reach within the crypto landscape.
Treeverse $SEED and BYOVape Claim
According to an announcement on the Treeverse Twitter page, Nftrees holders will be receiving extra in-game utility in the form of $SEED. By planting your Nftree, you will produce fruit for other in-game players. This will generate $SEED which can be used for other in-game activities which will be released when the full game is launched.
BYOVape began its claim for holders of BYOPills at 5:00 p.m. ET today. Each holder of a Pill could claim a Vape for free (plus gas). After claiming, each user holding both of the two NFTs will be airdropped a BYOCraft at a later date. More information is coming via their twitter and website regarding the Craft drops.
AWS Outages
Amazon Web Services had outages Tuesday that caused issues with NFT infrastructure, postponing an Art Blocks mint and affecting the floor prices and the indexing of searches on OpenSea. These reported issues caused websites such as Disney+ and Coinbase also to go down. With Lucky Trader’s services also being affected, we wait for notification on a fix from Amazon.

Murat Pak's "Merge" Collection Has Started Minting
After the public sale for Murat Pak's "Merge" collection ended on December 4, Nifty Gateway has started the minting process of the mass NFTs. At the time of writing, some users have still not received their mass NFTs, but they should be appearing in users wallets shortly. Nifty Gateway has placed a temporary hold on the movement of mass NFTs at present time, citing "an effort to make the secondary market fair for everyone."
"Merge" is the latest in cryptic and innovative collections from Pak. Earlier this morning, the artist broke down some of the built in deflationary merging mechanics on Twitter.

The Flower Girls Reveal
The Flower Girls, a collection of 10,000 PFP NFTs, revealed late last night. Artist Varvara Alay and the project have received notable shoutouts from Gary Vaynerchuk and other NFT influencers, with 20% of the project proceeds going to charity and another 5% being used to buy NFT from children. The Flower Girl rarities and collection can now be explored on site.
BYOVape Claiming
BYOPill holders will be able to claim their BYOVapes starting at 5:00 p.m. ET today. One BYOVape is available per BYOPill held. BYOVapes are the latest in the expansion of the BYOVerse, which now includes Pills, Keys, Apostles (avatars), and Vapes.
NBA Top Shot Series 3, Release 4 Pack Drop
Available at 2:00 p.m. ET, NBA Top Shot is dropping 240,000 Series 3 base packs for $9 each. Each pack contains three base moments from series three, and there is no collector score requirement for this pack.
Tom Brady Mystery Boxes
The DraftKings Marketplace is dropping new Tom Brady Mystery Boxes today starting at 5:00 p.m. ET. The collection consists of 16,600 boxes priced at $80 each. Inside each mystery box is one of 25 different Tom Brady collectibles. Preferred access is granted to those holders of previous Autograph Tom Brady NFTs.
