Chimpers Adventures is on its 3rd iteration (out of 6), and this time it's the Rock Spirit Jewel that's been awarded to all Chimpers that joined any part of the adventure.
The main prize for Adventure 3 is Chimpers Chronicles Series 2, Ep 3. “The Quest for the Ancient Chronicles: The Great Panda City!”, but along the way there was ample opportunity to earn XP, find bandanas, and land on spots that entered each Chimper into raffles for artwork, physical trading cards, and more.

The Details
Chimpers are about to embark on their third adventure, where they will explore the moonlit peaks of a mountainous region. Participants in the adventure can expect new rewards, including a spirit jewel for their Chimp. The third adventure introduces changes to the game mechanics, with alterations to the forward/backward squares and the introduction of lore squares, which provide players with background information about the Chimpverse.
In addition to the new spirit jewel, Chimpers can win various rewards during their adventure. These rewards include Chimpers Chronicles Series 2 artwork editions, Amulet Spirit Jewels, and more. The game updates aim to enhance player immersion and interaction with the Chimpverse.

During one of the quietest periods in NFT activity in recent memory, Chimpers continues to provide rewards and engagement opportunities for its community. While providing a consistent cadence of small rewards to holders is not revolutionary, the Chimpers team has uniquely positioned Adventures as an incredibly low-lift reward system for its holders. To participate, holders must simply place their Chimper in the DOJO (basically stake their NFT) to become eligible for rewards. Chimpers have been included in a private beta for ThirdGate, a new platform that offers perks and rewards from various brands if the user is a holder of specific NFTs. This announcement was made by both @ChimpersNFT and @thirdgatexyz.

- ThirdGate is a marketplace that allows creators of digital assets to unlock access to new benefits for their holders.
- Chimpers in the Dojo can access 26 perks from brands, including offers for gift cards, discounts, airdrops, and WL spots, with more coming soon.

Chimpers NFT launched its second adventure in the series, according to a tweet from the project.

This is the start of TBAC Series 2: “The Quest for the Ancient Chronicles," and the first-ever story about the Chimpers from the series. Holders will be able to complete tasks to earn rewards and compete for a grand prize.

The TBAC series 2 will consist of six artworks from Timpers, the project artist and founder. In Series 2 new rewards will be discovered, and some previous rewards may not be available.

The adventuring phase of the Chimpers' journey has begun and can be accessed at the Dojo.
❗ Why It Matters
Adventuring is the gamified gateway to TBAC Series 2: The Quest for the Ancient Chronicles. Every participating Chimper will be guaranteed rewards, but the main prize, the first episode of TBAC S2, will be awarded to the first 555 Chimpers to the finish line.
Collecting the full set of episodes has rewarded holders handsomely in the past. Collectors of the full set of the six episodes from The Bored Ape Chronicles Series 1 received a diamond fleece NFT (there was one listed for 32.6 ETH at the end of December because it could be burned for a Genesis Chimper, which currently has a floor price of 24 ETH). Full set collectors also received future membership to the Timpers avatar project which became Chimpers, among other things.
The Deets
- A daily snapshot of staked Chimpers is taken at 7:00 p.m. ET. All Chimpers in the snapshot can roll their dice the next day.
- *note: today Chimpers auto-rolled due to a time zone issue. The issue has been fixed and you'll be able to roll 🎲 again tomorrow.
- Users can roll from 2:00 a.m. ET onwards. If you don't roll, your Chimper will auto-roll.

Staked Chimpers will be able to access their first Adventure within the Dojo on Thursday, Feb. 2nd at around 2:00 p.m. ET, according to a tweet from the official Chimpers account.
The Deets
The first of six adventures starts Thursday with each adventure expected to take around 3 weeks to complete. There will be a 2-3 week break between each adventure game, during which prizes will be distributed and the Chimpers team will continue to work on optimizing the adventure game.
- Every day each Chimper will roll a 🎲, and move the rolled number of steps along the board.
- Each spot could result in a move forward, a move backwards, nothing, or even a reward.
- The base 🎲 is 1-4, but for each bandana level above white, the dice will have an additional number added (yellow bandana has 5 numbers, orange bandana has 6 numbers, and the green bandana has 7 numbers).
It should be noted that participation in the adventure game - similar to the Dojo training - is automatic, and holders need not do anything besides stake their Chimpers.
❗ Why It Matters
The Chimpers team wanted to make something fun for Series 2 of TBAC (The Bored Ape Chronicles), since in TBAC Series 1, artworks were simple edition drops. The result? An adventure game in which all staked Chimpers have a chance to win artwork and other prizes.
While not a "skill-based mint" in the vein of Yuga Labs' Dookey Dash, Chimpers Adventuring is another example of how adding gamification elements can keep holders and members of the community engaged and attentive.
