Knights of Degen Present Degenesis: An Open Edition

Yesterday, Knights of Degen announced Degenesis, an open edition that kicks off the release of KOD lore.
The Deets
- 72-hour OE mint started April 10 at 12 p.m. ET and will remain open until April 13 at 12 p.m. ET.
- The mint price is 0.022 ETH (~$41.69 each at the time of writing).
- The Degen Kingdom’s origin story unfolds across four chapters and each chapter has cover art meant for display, featuring artwork from Memo Angeles (KillaBears), Chris Ebeling (Zed Run), Process Grey (Goblintown), and Bunya.eth.
- Chapters can be burned to reveal the next chapter. Burn 2x of each chapter to reveal the next (see infographic below for reference).
- Burn 1 of each (1,2,3 & 4) to mint the Collector’s Edition Volume 1 (CED: Vol 1).
❗ Why It Matters
Knights of Degen is now leaning into the open edition meta, which was a success back in February for both KillaBears and Creature World. The move will serve to expand on the lore of the Knights of Degen ecosystem as well as provide the project with an additional source of funding.
