The physical collectibles, expected to be delivered in Fall 2023, are meticulously designed by Beeple himself and further enhance the rarity and desirability of the release.

❗Why It Matters

It's difficult to make NFT holders happy at this moment in time, but providing the 555 Gift Goat holders with a piece from Beeple surely can't be met with any negativity.

📊 By the Numbers

Upon debut the collection holds a floor price of 0.88 ETH, one of the cheapest entry points for a Beeple NFT. At the time of writing, Beeple's EVERYDAYS 2020 Collection holds a floor price of 8.99 ETH. Meanwhile, VeeFriends' Gift Goats maintain a floor of 7.9 ETH.

Beeple will be live minting 200 editions of an EVERYDAY NFT at the upcoming PROOF of Conference event in Los Angeles, according to a tweet from the artist

The Deets

Beeple will build one of his famous EVERYDAY NFTs live with help from the audience. After the edition is completed, 200 pieces will be minted and given away as follows:

  • 100 to existing Beeple NFT holders.
  • 100 to PROOF of Conference attendees.

❗Why It Matters

Beeple is among the most notable NFT artists and his artwork commands a significant price on the secondary market. While the price of admission (1.5 ETH for general public) is steep, a few lucky members will walkaway with a strong ROI, as the cheapest available EVERYDAY NFT is listed for 18 ETH on OpenSea at the time of writing.

If the conference is fully attended, only 2.5 percent of attendees will walk away delighted, but the giveaway comes as a pleasant surprise and highly valuable door prize.

PROOF of Conferece tickets went on sale for the general public earlier today. At this time, 2,782 tickets remain available for 1.5 ETH each.

Beeple Says Involvement With Solana Project Overstated
Tyler Warner

Notable digital artist Beeple says a report from Decrypt that he's bringing 3D NFTs to Solana is "not remotely accurate."

The story from Decrypt said Beeple was bringing "immersive 3D NFTs" to Solana, citing a Sunday presentation from Metaplex Studios CEO Stephen Hess at the Solana Breakpoint conference in Lisbon, Portugal.

“In partnership with the Render Network, we’re excited to welcome Beeple to Metaplex and Solana,” Hess said, according to a video from the event, calling the Beeple project "the future of streaming and immersive 3D NFTs."

Beeple tweeted that he was in "super preliminary talks with nothing remotely set or agreed upon" and it got "spun up to this."

Hess replied to Beeple's tweet Monday saying that he "should have confirmed the consent, directly with you, of what was announced."

"Metaplex first and foremost exists to empower creators, and this means creators need to be respected and that their work be communicated according to their wishes – and I definitely fell short of that mark on this," Hess said.

Beeple has served as an advisor to Render Network, Decrypt reports.

Hess shared a slide in his Sunday presentation that indicated it would allow users to "remix an NFT on Render" and "create your own unique NFT with a Beeple Everyday' with a "randomized set of objects and time to create with."

The Beeple: Everydays collection holds a 17.95 ETH floor at the time of writing, with just two sales in the past month.

Michael Winkelmann Announces Beeple Studios, an IRL Space for NFT Artists
Jason Bales

Michael Winkelmann, known to the NFT community as Beeple, is building a new space for artists to showcase digital artworks in a physical way.

"I'm very excited to show the first sneak peak at just one part of our studio here in Charleston," Beeple wrote on Twitter under a video that showed builders constructing a new warehouse-style building. "This will be a outlet for not just my artwork, but the entire digital art [and] NFT community."

The new building, known as Beeple Studios, aims to bring the next wave of collectors to web3 art.

"The boom happened because suddenly a lot more people learned of what we were doing and believed in it," Beeple continued. "For that to happen again, we need to find new ways of bringing in collectors who probably now have heard of NFTs but still don't really 'get it.'"

One new way to do that is to return to an old way of sharing art -- IRL (in-real-life).

"I believe by showing people that this artwork can absolutely be shared and appreciated in real life, not just on our tiny screens, they will see that this medium is just like any other with the ability to bring beauty, provoke thoughtful discussion, and truly move us," Beeple added. "I know how insanely passionate our community is, which makes me so pumped and humbled to have this ability to help share that with the rest of the world. I can't wait to start bringing people together here."

Beeple ended his announcement with a bit of mystery. This is apparently only the first half of what he is building. The second half is "where s*** is going to get real."

Michael Winkelmann is one of the top-selling NFT artists. His “Everydays: The First 5,000 Days” sold for nearly $70 million at Christie’s in March 2021.
