In conjunction with the latest Pixel Vault news, Reboot Protocol announced distribution plans for its 1 billion $GG tokens, providing multiple pathways for holders of $POW, $PUNKS, and Inhabitants Planets tokens to earn $GG.
The Deets
- Pixel Vault Community: Encourages participation by offering GG tokens in exchange for POW, $PUNKS, and Planets.
- Substitution Rates: POW can be exchanged for 0.41 GG or 41 Game Credits, while $PUNKS can be exchanged for 0.75 GG or 75 Game Credits.
- From Planets to Dust: Holders can convert Inhabitants Planets tokens into Planet Dust which in turn unlocks GG over a 24-month period.
- Reboot Treasury: Accounted for 10% of the GG supply, being available on Day 1, governable by Reboot DAO.
The Bulk
The Reboot Protocol, in a bid to expand its ecosystem, has detailed how it plans to distribute its fixed GG token supply. The Protocol is set to intertwine with the Pixel Vault Community, providing a mechanism for the substitution of POW, PUNKS, and Inhabitants Planets tokens into GG tokens. The rates for these substitutions are fairly straightforward. For instance, one POW token can either be traded for 0.41 GG or 41 Game Credits. PUNKS tokens follow suit with rates set at 0.75 GG or 75 Game Credits.
The option also exists for holders of Inhabitants Planets tokens. They can trade their tokens for what is called the Planet Dust. This unique token unlocks GG over two years, with 25% being readily available. Holders should be cautious, as claiming GG before a full unlock of a Planet Dust token will require a burn of said token, redirecting the locked GG into a community pool.
On the financial front, the Reboot Treasury stands tall with 10% of the total GG token supply. This treasury is not just static; it's dynamic. It is poised to see continuous replenishment from transactions within the protocol, which includes game session fees and shop fees. Moreover, Pixel Vault, the company behind all this, is making sacrifices for its community. It's giving up its GG share from POW and PUNKS to boost the community's effective conversion rate.
📊 By the Numbers
- 1 billion: The total fixed supply of GG tokens.
- 10%: GG supply allocation each for Reboot Treasury and Credits & Rewards.
- 24 months: Period over which Planet Dust token unlocks GG.

Pixel Vault unveiled BattlePlan Player Cards, a unique fusion of gaming profiles and wallet functionalities, and transforms the way players interact with its gaming platform.
The Deets
- Player Cards: Soulbound ERC-721 iNFTs customized with your profile picture and skin selection
- Progress and NFTs: These two factors are key in unlocking skins
- Three vital parameters: Player Cards store your Rating, BattlePoints, and non-transferable Credits
- The rewarding system: Skilled players earn BattlePoints, in-game bonuses, and climb leaderboards
The Bulk
BattlePlan is changing the Pixel Vault gaming experience, notably through Player Cards. These cards, unique to each player, are a blend of profiles and wallets, offering a combination that is reminiscent of classic arcade cards. They are soulbound ERC-721 iNFTs, providing personalization, allowing players to adorn them with their profile pictures and select from a variety of skins.
The Player Card is a comprehensive storehouse for all player-related information - it houses your Rating, BattlePoints, and Credits. The Rating is classified into four tiers with three classes each. The tiers are representative of a player's average skill rating, used for skill-based matchmaking, while the classes depict the certainty of the protocol about your Rating. Dedicated players and those who develop their skills are rewarded with more in-game bonuses.
BattlePoints function as a metric for players to climb the leaderboards and unlock items through their rewards tracks. Thus, high-performing players earn more than just respect; they also garner more BattlePoints.
Credits, another crucial component of the Player Card, are essential for playing BattlePlan. While they are non-transferable, replenishing your Player Card with Credits is a simple task, ensuring uninterrupted gaming.

Pixel Vault released the whitepaper for its upcoming Inhabitants PvP game, titled BattlePlan!
❗ Why It Matters
The Reboot Protocol whitepaper was more targeted towards developers, as it was quite technical in nature. It detailed Reboot's open arcade protocol and plan to disrupt the centralized nature of the gaming industry, whereas this BattlePaper covers the actual gameplay mechanics of the PvP auto-brawler.
And while it's been known that the Inhabitants generative identities would be the in-game characters, the BattlePaper provides clarification on how the entire ecosystem fits into the game.
📝 The Deets
- BattlePlan! is a 3v3 strategic auto-brawler in which the player makes decisions and the fighting is carried out automatically.
- A BattlePlan! match is played over multiple rounds, with the goal being to win 16 rounds before losing six lives.
- Players will use Game Credits, which can be acquired from:
- Purchases using ETH
- Score ecosystem bonuses and airdrops given to holders of Inhabitant NFTs
- NDT or vNDT (NDT is a placeholder name for the token the protocol will use, and vNDT is a reward earned for each round won)
- The credits you need to play and any possible rewards depend on the difficulty level you choose.
- BattlePlan! Alpha (V1) represents just the first release, and there will be new features with each new season and release.
🔜 What’s Next?
Those interested should read the BattlePaper! for in-depth detail about the game, such as collectible skills, loadouts, team customizations, and more.

Pixel Vault is launching their upcoming auto-brawler on Reboot, and a whitepaper for the arcade protocol was released, per this tweet from Reboot.gg.
❗ Why It Matters
The Reboot whitepaper declares that the gaming ecosystem is broken, and Reboot.gg is presenting a decentralized solution to the traditional problems associated with the gaming industry, such as high fees (the industry average platform fee is 30%), predatory monetization tactics, and an overall lack of fun.
The protocol provides a scalable framework for managing in-game economies and controlling how matchmaking is conducted, among many other things. Players can be rewarded from both regular gameplay and affiliate rewards, developers get a cut of session revenue and the sale of in-game items, and other participants can earn fees from providing liquidity; and all the monetary flows are traceable from the point-of-purchase.
What It Means
- Reboot Shop enables in-game digital tokens that can be either sold to players or used as rewards for winning games.
- Players will gain true ownership of their game items, as opposed to how Fortnite skins are bought but can never be sold or moved off the server, or the mechanics within popular online modes such as 2K's NBA MyTeam or FIFA's Ultimate Team (in which items reset every year).
- Players can earn tokens or rewards in the form of NFTs, for the number of completed game sessions or for completing objectives.
- Matchmaking uses on-chain data to determine relative player skill.
- Developers can issue promotional game credits to promote their games.

Gaming+Web3 is not a new idea, but tokenizing game economies presents design challenges that can result in less competition, and interest in web3 gaming. Reboot offers a solution with minimal cost for developers to incorporate a stable web3 growth economy in their games.@TuringCrypto
